Teac X-2000 quarter track was the most basic of the 2000 series with three heads and the same stylish appearance as the more popular auto reverse model, the X 2000R. It featured a 4mm die-cast front panel and had a feature that the R did not, Spooling, which is useful for a slow rewind before storing your tapes.
